Automated alerts are built to match keywords, not context. They will send you a listing that technically fits your filters but misses on the things that actually matter, like which side of a busy street a house sits on, or whether a neighbourhood's "starter home" price band has crept past what a search filter shows. When you tell me what you are after, I am applying local knowledge on top of the numbers, not just running a query.
There is also no login to create and no inbox full of near-misses to sort through. You tell me once, and the follow-up is a real conversation, not an automated digest.
